# SocialOS

SocialOS is a private social media workflow tool used by Jeremy Conner to support content planning, draft preparation, scheduling, and publishing workflows for managed business social media accounts.

SocialOS is not a public consumer application. It is used internally with a self-hosted Postiz instance to help prepare and schedule social media content for Facebook Pages, Instagram Business accounts, and other connected social channels.

## What the app does

SocialOS helps with:

- Generating social media post ideas and draft captions

- Organizing client-specific content workflows

- Selecting approved media assets

- Sending completed drafts to Postiz for human review and scheduling

- Supporting publishing workflows for managed business accounts through Postiz

## Meta integration

SocialOS uses Meta platform access only for business social media management workflows. The app may be used with Facebook Pages and Instagram Business accounts where the operator has been granted appropriate administrative access.

Meta permissions may be used to:

- View connected Facebook Pages and Instagram Business accounts

- Prepare and publish approved content through Postiz

- Access post, engagement, comment, or insight information where needed for account management and reporting

SocialOS does not sell user data, operate as a public social network, or provide public user accounts.

## Data handling

SocialOS and its connected self-hosted Postiz environment may store information needed for social media operations, including connected account metadata, drafts, scheduled posts, captions, media references, publishing status, and related workflow logs.
